Unhappy with its current solution and recognizing the absence of good utilization review and case management software in the Workers Compensation industry, GSG initiated its own project to develop the Virtual Case Management System (VCMS). Approximately 1 year later, the first version was introduced.VCMS underwent a series of improvements, utilizing the expertise of medical professionals, case managers, and a savvy leadership team with keen understanding of the case management and utilization review process. Through this constant feedback loop, VCMS became a robust software offering for an industry that lacked a viable software solution.In 2010, GSG spun-off Advocate Technology Solutions, LLC to concentrate on marketing the system. Since then, VCMS has become a market leader in utilization review and case management software solutions.Even still today, customer feedback fuels the creative force behind the initiatives and solutions we develop at ATS.
