• Triple Crown Energy LLC (together with its affiliates, Triple Crown) is an independent, privately held Tulsa, Oklahoma-based oil and gas company led by a management team with extensive experience in acquiring, owning, developing and operating oil and gas properties in a variety of oil and gas plays. Triple Crown owns a substantial acreage position in Osage County, Oklahoma and has amassed a substantial acreage position in Kansas, with acreage primarily located in Ness, Hodgeman and Gove Counties. Triple Crown is in the process of exploiting its Kansas holdings through a vertical drilling program that targets the Mississippi Lime, Marmoton, Cherokee Sands, Fort Scott, Kansas City and Lansing formations. In addition to its E&P business, Triple Crown in actively engaged in the mineral and lease acquisition business and is currently building a mineral interest and non-operated working interest platform. Currently, Triple Crown is pursuing acquisitions in the States of Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays and in the State of Texas in the Permian Basin. Triple Crown has also completed a series of acquisitions and divestitures in the Oklahoma Mississippi Lime and Woodford plays, the Mississippi portion of the Tuscaloosa Marine Shale play and the Eagle Ford Shale play.
