• After focusing on the Ethnic Minority owned Business Sector for more than 20 years with the Central and North Florida Minority Supplier Development Council and the Orlando MBDA Center, we have regrouped. The Florida Diversity Business Council (FDBC) will continue to focus on the MBE community, we are excited to also work with Veteran- owned, Service Disabled Veteran- owned, and LGBTQ- owned businesses. Over the years we have developed relationships with Corporations, Universities, Hospitals, and Government Agencies. We will continue to work hard to maintain the relationships, but also strive to make new relationships and open the door for a variety of new opportunities. Our goal ultimately is to make the buyers' jobs easier by referring qualified, competent, successful businesses to fulfill upcoming business opportunities. We are committed to initiating networking and learning opportunities for our members. To do so we will host meetings and seminars throughout the year and throughout the region focused on networking, business building/ development, and information exchange. Our paramount event of the year will be our Annual Conference. Overall we are here to support and serve the community. We will serve as a bridge for the disadvantaged business and the corporate communities. We will also volunteer at charity events, support other non-profits, and be a good community member.
