The firm was first established in 1968, and has had offices located in Mishawaka, Indiana, and later in downtown South Bend, Indiana. Currently, their offices are in an office building designed by the firm, and located in South Bend's Airport 2010 development. The firm provides professional services in the fields of architecture, interior and urban design, and historic preservation. Crumlish and Crumlish Architects is a 5-person firm and is now under the direction of Brendan Crumlish, a licensed architect in thirteen states. The firm provides comprehensive services on a wide range of project types either as new design, or as renovations and additions. These include: medical, veterinary and commercial office buildings and suites; restaurants and kitchens; historic preservation and renovations; retail and shopping areas; churches and ecclesiastical spaces, apartments and custom homes; industrial and manufacturing facilities; and interior space planning projects. Standard services include design, cost estimating, construction drawings and specifications, assistance in bidding and negotiation procedures, and administration of the project during construction. Site selections, code consultations, feasibility studies, building condition assessments, forensic investigations, 3-D renderings and model-making are available as additional services.
