• The Protective Services Training Academy (PSTA) is Where the Mid-Atlantic region's Top Protective Service Organizations and Professionals Come to Train. The PSTA was built with protective service and law enforcement professionals in mind. The PSTA provides a complete set of services to private protective services companies including facility rental, certification services, training, and staffing. Government and law enforcement agencies also regularly train their staffs at the PSTA. The PSTA is located in Prince Georges County, Maryland adjacent to Andrews Air Force Base, and approximately 11 miles from the Capitol. The mission of the state-of-the-art training facility is to provide: - A full array of training/simulation services and facility rentals to private and government organizations within the protective services, law enforcement, corrections, and military communities- Training and certification for prospective Protective Service Officers- Complete staffing, screening, and testing services to companies in the protective services industry- A place for individuals in the law enforcement, military, corrections, and protective services field to hone their skills in a peer-friendly environment - A retail store on premises fully stocked with high-quality firearms, ammunition, and other equipment and supplies
