PMI Southern Maryland Chapter has over 800 members in Calvert County, Charles County, Prince George's County, and St. Mary's County, MD. Mission and Objectives Provide a forum for project management professionals and business community leaders. Promote PMI principles through networking, sharing project experiences, providing and receiving training. Support project management professionals with certification efforts. Advance the mission and objective of the PMI within the Southern Maryland area. Develop a growing and committed membership in Southern Maryland through an aggressive recruiting plan. Promote professional project management principles and techniques with local businesses, universities, and professional associations. Develop and provide quality programs based on Southern Maryland project management needs. Create and maintain an evolving education program that supports the PMI Professional Certification Program.
