Predecessor companies include Portola Packaging, Portola Blow Mold Technologies, The Cap Snap Company, NEPCO, and Allied Tool.In 2010 Velocity purchased substantially all assets of Portolas Equipment Division. Today, Velocity is owned by an investment group that is comprised of the management team of the former Equipment Division of Portola and the Mistequay Group, Ltd. (Saginaw, MI), a longtime supplier to Portola. Velocity is headquartered in New Castle, Pa.Together with its partner Mistequay, Velocity has 12 manufacturing, sales and distribution facilities strategically located around the globe.
