Portfolio School
Get Full AccessDescription
- A Stanford-inspired K-12 school for creative problem solvers, innovators and lifelong learners. Children are naturally curious, playful and inquisitive. Put them in a structured and supportive environment, and they will become partners in their own education. Using personalized learning techniques and an immersive Project-Based Learning approach, our schools create the ideal environment for students to learn at their own pace, develop critical thinking skills, and establish a facility with technology and innovation. Its estimated that 65% of todays grade-school children will end up in careers that havent been invented yet. When you consider this, if we can strengthen in our children those abilities that make us human - the ability to be creative, to be resourceful, to be curious, to persevere - then they will have the best chance for future happiness and success, no matter what careers they may choose. Portfolio graduates leave with more than just grades and transcripts. They leave with the core knowledge they need to be successful. They leave with portfolios of skills, projects and work that illustrate they are the kinds of thinkers, innovators and citizens we want to lead us into the future.
