- In 2000 Scott and Beth Cevasco founded Scotts Custom Jewelers in downtown Akron, OH as a typical mom and pop jewelry store. Several years later, they decided to take their company in another direction, and invested in CAD (computer aided design) technology. Soon, they became known for their unique, fun, low-pressure custom design service and quality workmanship. Now, in addition to one-on-one customer designs, the store is stocked with original, fine jewelry for sale, all designed and produced on the premises. Today, the company has two locations, in Fairlawn and Columbus, Ohio, seven employees, and a state-of-the art manufacturing facility.
