- Audix commenced in 1984 with a mission that remains unchanged: To design, engineer and manufacture high performing, innovative products that contribute to the advancement of the professional audio industries. Year after year, Audix microphones are recognized for their design, performance, quality, durability and value. Audix has a state of the art manufacturing facility at its headquarters in Wilsonville, Oregon. Though most all of our products are designed by our engineers and several product lines (OM, D series,The Micros, Contractor series) are at least in part manufactured by Audix, our lofty goal is to manufacture all Audix products in the USA. Audix employees take pride in their workmanship and stand behind our durable, long-lasting products. Many of our product designs initiate from our customer's needs. Our passions for ingenuity and product design are unrelenting.
