- With 150+ active counselors, Troy Camp is the University of Southern California's oldest, largest, and most diverse philanthropy.Every year, Troy Camp takes between 150 and 220 inner-city 3rd - 5th grade children from around the USC area to a week-long summer camp. During the year following camp, counselors mentor the children through yearlong activities like Career Day, Multicultural Day and fun trips to places like Disneyland. In addition to the yearlong events, Troy Camp counselors also put on after-school tutoring at multiple elementary schools, in-school programming (Such as music, art, science, and sports classes), a middle school leadership program, and a high school junior counselor program.Troy Camp is completely run and fund-raised by students, raising over $150,000 every year.
