With programs founded on the principles of honesty, caring, responsibility and respect, emphasizing education, health and recreation, the YMCA serves men, women and children of all ages, religions, races and abilities, with a focus on youth.Founded in 1879 as the Oakland YMCA, the YMCA of the East Bay serves East Bay communities through childcare, fitness, camping services, youth programs and more. The YMCA of the East Bay is comprised of 9 branches, stretching from Camp Loma Mar in Pescadero to Camp Ravencliff in Humboldt County.
