Arthur Finnieston Prosthetics + Orthotics

Description

• Arthur Finnieston Prosthetics + Orthotics provides unparalleled prosthetic service by making client comfort our first priority. We remove limitations caused by pain, allowing our patients to participate in every activity imaginable. Our passion in developing new technology redefines what is possible for amputees. At Arthur Finnieston Prosthetics + Orthotics, we believe that the most integral aspect of a prosthesis is the socket design. Simply put, without a socket that is comfortable, fit properly and correctly aligned, the benefits of the most advanced bionic technology or microprocessor components are lost. Active Socket with Cushion TechnologyThe Active Socket is currently the only socket available that utilizes a negative pressure socket system without the use of mechanical or electrical components such as the vacuum-assisted socket. This translates to a socket that offers all the benefits of negative pressure without added weight. The other unique advantage is that the negative pressure within the Active Socket is determined by the level of activity. The Active Socket also utilizes Cushion Technology to provide the user with optimal comfort. A special formulation is injected into the distal end of the socket to cushion the limb ensuring that no matter how aggressive the activity, your limb will not bottom-out. So you always maintain comfort no matter how intense your activity.
