We are solely focused on reducing needless distress and creating emotional well-being for those we serve. The CanSurround team estimates that for every person diagnosed with cancer, at least five additional lives are affected by the disease. Because cancers influence is far reaching, CanSurround serves all whose lives are changed by cancerpatient, family, friends, and co-workers. Considering all phases of the cancer journeydiagnosis, treatment and survivorshipwe provide information and inspiration to guide participants toward choices that foster personal growth and healing. By building a trusted relationship with all users, CanSurround helps them to gain confidence, better steer their way through the cancer experience and let go of some of their fear and worry. In 2013, CanSurround became the first Delaware-based company to be incorporated as a Public Benefit Corporation under Delaware's statute enacted that same year.
