• Springboard CDFI is on a mission to close the wealth gap in America by rebuilding the broken delivery system of mortgage financing for low- to moderate-income and underserved communities. Our approach includes a scaled retail offering that is centralized and technology driven, a network of non-profit partners embedded in and trusted by local communities across the country, and CRA & affordable lending fulfillment services for banks struggling to reach (and ultimately failing to adequately serve) these populations. Our technology enables clients to seamlessly and effortlessly understand, interact, and communicate with us regarding their mortgage application, processing, and closing using any device. Our wholesale, network-based approach through the National Mortgage Collaborative (NMC) has attracted the top non-profits in the field to its advisory Leadership Council, as well as very strong pending demand by HUD approved organizations across the country who wish to join the NMC and deploy the technology in their markets. Through aggregation of these smaller-dollar loans and lower-volume sources, the NMC channel will produce consistently high volume. The combination of both retail and wholesale channels, allows Springboard CDFI to offer meaningful engagement with capital markets at scale. Being a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) is a prestigious designation by the US Treasury that certifies our financial strength and commitment to lending to lower income populations. We are the first CDFI with a national scope that is fully focused on mortgages lending.
