Rightside

Description

• First and foremost, Rightside is a domain Registry. Not that long ago, businesses and individuals were limited to domains featuring a small handful of extensions like .COM, .NET, or .ORG. In recent years, the organization that governs domains, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) decided to allow Registries to propose and manage new extensions. Rightside was one of those Registries and after several years of intensive work we now own 40 extensions including .NINJA, .ROCKS, .GAMES, .LIVE, and .NEWS. Besides opening up new digital real estate, wed like to think these new domain extensions make the internet a more exciting, creative space. Were helping individuals and brands tell their story, their way. And we could not be more excited to be at the forefront of this new movement. But we cant do it alone, which is why the Rightside family also includes our Registrar, name.com. Name.com directly sells domains and domain related services to the public. Rightside is pioneering a complementary domain strategy, recognizing that the modern brand can benefit from multiple domain names to promote their brand across social media platforms, websites, and microsites. Because every brand is unique theres no one size fits all approach and we pride ourselves on helping brands and individuals find the right complementary domain strategy to meet their unique needs and personality. Trivia.NinjaRightside is based in Kirkland, Washington with employee bases in Dublin, Ireland and Austin, Texas. Name.com is based in Denver. On December 8, 2014, Rightside rang the closing bell at the NASDAQ stock exchange to celebrate the fact that the company went public the August prior. CEO Taryn Naidus favorite domain extension is .NINJA.
