Bion Environmental Technologies

Description

• Bions unique and patented technology platform provides a high-impact cleantech solution for large-scale livestock production (CAFOs Concentrated Animal Feeding Operations). The livestock industry, especially CAFOs, has come under heavy and increasing scrutiny for its substantial environmental and public health impacts at the same time it is struggling with reduced margins and supply-chain issues. Bion systems largely eliminate the environmental impacts of large-scale production while improving operational and resource efficiencies by recovering valuable nutrients and renewable energy from the waste stream. Bions unique and patented technology platform can help transform both the $180B U.S. animal protein sector and the way we manage our soil, air and water quality. Traditional downstream water treatment strategies are becoming increasingly more expensive and less effective. Long term and recent trends indicate several billion dollars will be spent in the coming years on now-unregulated upstream pollution sources, such as agriculture/livestock waste treatment. State and national policy is evolving to stimulate private sector participation in this new space that has until now been dominated by government and NGOs. Bion's technology is proven in commercial applications and has been accepted by US EPA, USDA and state regulatory agencies.
