- Arts Out Loud, Inc., a non-profit organization, was founded to empower young people, 16-22 years of age that identify as LGBTQ, by providing access to film, music, dance, theatre education resources, such as scholarships, mentoring, and community building/networking. We focus on creating educational and growth opportunities through our programs: a scholarship fund for those kids wanting to go to college and pursue an arts degree in fields like: film, theatre, dance, and music; industry specific events; mentoring for 16-22 year olds that wish to learn more about their field of interest and build life long connections. Kids who have been stigmatized, bullied, or isolated because of their sexual orientation or gender identity often lack critical family, financial, and community support. These are kids with great promise and talent and they often give up because they dont believe success is possible for them. We empower them with resources for expanding their education and strengthening their sense of pride. Because they matter.
