• We are not your average cap in hand charity organisation. We are a Non Profit Company which does not want to re-invent the wheel. We currently support 32 organisations through which we reach and change the lives of thousands monthly, by donating funds and or products. We also believe in making it easy for anyone to do good, whether it is donors, volunteers, friends of the foundation, key partners or ambassadors. Acorn Foundation has also launched our Acorn Water, Acorn Meal and Acorn Veggie tunnel products to generate a revenue stream, so that we may become self-sustainable and eventually, not reliant on donor funds. Our Acorn Golf Days, Pro-Am Series and have been successful and funds raised changed the lives of many people and will continue to do so. The Acorn Lifestyle Challenge which Pilots at Eagle Canyon on 2 November 2014, we believe will be equally successful and generate further funds to change the lives of others. 28 November 2014 sees our most ambitious Fund Raising Campaign - Nail-a-Thon Thousands of organisations around the world mark 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence between November 25th and December 10th. Acorn Foundation will add its voice to the growing chorus around the world and call for an end to gender-based violence to raise awareness, influence behavioural change and support our, and other organisation who help those affected by Gender Violence @Acorn_SA #NailAThon #BeHandsOn will not only support Gender Violence, but will also change more lives through our current beneficiaries who will receive funding, but also through the creation of the Acorn Foundation Education/Skill Development and Scholarship Fund, which will be created after the National Fund Raising event which we aim to roll out internationally in 2015
