Martin Brothers continued for the next three decades as a prosperous and growing business, serving the domestic and overseas agricultural marketplace. Mr. Robert Martin, Sr., seeing new growth opportunities in the developing earthmoving and forestry equipment markets, formed Martin Equipment of Illinois, Inc. in 1981 as an authorized John Deere Industrial (Construction, Utility, Forestry) Equipment dealership. Today, more than 140 employees strong in ten locations, we are still dedicated to making our customers successful with a variety of equipment, parts, and service options.
