    • The Geri-Fit Company is a provider of a tier III evidence-based health promotion exercise program that is licensed to area agencies on aging, senior centers, non-profits and other places that offer group exercise programs for older adults. The Geri-Fit program underwent a review process in 2012 and met the highest level criteria set forth by the Administration on Aging (AoA), the Administration for Community Living (ACL), and the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and became approved as a tier III evidence-based health promotion program making it eligible for federal funding through Title IIID Older Americans Act (OAA). The company has been in business since 1994 and was originally based in Hudson, Ohio but has since relocated to southern California in 2011. In addition to licensing the Geri-Fit exercise program nationwide, the company also offers continuing education training programs and courses to fitness trainers, healthcare professionals, family caregivers, and evidence-based program leaders. The Geri-Fit Company has a diverse product line of products and exercise DVDs designed to enhance the lives of older adults.
