• Our sunglasses are designed to be comfortable when using headsets in the cockpit. Flying Eyes strap system is designed to be worn with a headset. Unlike all other sunglasses, the strap on Flying Eyes is soft, flat, and unnoticeable between your head and the headset so there is no pressure or pain, even after a long day of flying. And, thanks to a better seal between the headset and your head, your noise-cancelling headsets will be quieter. No more noise leaks! Additional features include: Standard temples are also included so you can use these frames outside of the cockpit. Non-Polarized Lenses for better viewing of LCD multifunction displays on the instrument panel as well as through aircraft windows which are usually made of acrylic. Lenses have a neutral gray tint which will not interfere with interpreting color charts and instruments. Medium Lens Tint which are dark enough to remove glare from the brightest and haziest days, but not so dark that you cant see easily in the cockpit. Optically-correct, shatter resistant polycarbonate lenses with a scratch resistant coating for years of professional use. The lenses have the best UV protection available, UV400 because pilots flying at higher altitudes have increased exposure to harmful UV radiation from the sun.
