- Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) was incorporated in 1985 and employs more than 350 engineers, scientists, technicians, and support personnel. GTA focuses on geotechnical issues such as subsurface exploration, geotechnical and foundation engineering; groundwater resource and wastewater disposal issues; construction observation and materials testing; environmental issues from environmental assessments through management of remediation for contaminated water and soil; and natural resource services ranging from natural resource inventories to federal and state permit processing. Superior delivery of service and creative solutions complement our capabilities and collective commitment to our clients.We provide these services for a wide range of projects throughout the mid-Atlantic region and Carolinas. Our 16 office locations include: Abingdon, Baltimore, Laurel, Frederick, and Waldorf, MD; New Castle and Georgetown, DE; Quakertown and York, PA; Somerset and Little Ferry, NJ; Sterling and Fredericksburg, VA; Charlotte and Raleigh, NC (GTA Associates, Inc.); and Malvern, OH.Project types include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, residential communities, industrial parks, government and institutional facilities, and recreational facilities. We also provide infrastructure design and improvement projects including roads, bridges, retaining walls, dams, landfills, and utilities.Accreditations: AASHTO and Army Corps of Engineers accredited soil, aggregate, and concrete laboratory facilities.We realize that our greatest asset is our people.
