- Academy of Healing Nutrition is a school of longevity, rejuvenation and self-empowerment.Academy offers a 10 month professional training course in Holistic Health Counseling and Nutrition Coaching starting in October each year, as well as community workshops and classes in Manhattan, New York. For those who are not able to take the live course in NYC we also offer our training online, starting twice a year in June and October. Established over 25 years ago in Australia, our curriculum draws on the time-tested healing arts of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda and Macrobiotics, along with cutting-edge Western nutrition including the research on adaptogenic herbs, medicinal mushrooms, superfoods, and the theories of the Weston A. Price Foundation. Unique to our professional training program are:- Practical Longevity Diet cooking classes - the only way to truly experience the healing power of food.- Lively interaction, detailed instruction and personal attention from the faculty- Extensively researched workbook and reference materials available only to our students.
