These programs include the Malpractice and General Liability Trust Fund, Workers Compensation Fund and The Physicians Trust. The LHA Trust Funds are unique insurance programs created for members of the Louisiana Hospital Association and are owned by member participants. Our insurance programs have provided professional liability, general liability and workers compensation coverage to hospitals, physicians and healthcare facilities since 1977. Organized under Louisiana statutes and operating similarly to traditional insurance companies, our Trusts have been successful, financially stable and affordable while offering unparalleled patient safety, workplace safety and risk management programs to Louisiana healthcare providers.
