• At Accessible Recovery Services, Inc., (ARS) our mission is to provide the highest quality and safest medically assisted treatment, in a compassionate, non biased, professional medical setting, to all of our patients with opioid addiction. We offer multiple paths to recovery, including Buprenorphine and Vivitrol treatment. ARS is a Medically Assisted Treatment Program for Opioid Addiction, with multiple offices across Pennsylvania. We fully participate with all Major Health Plans, including Medicaid products, with no extraneous cash charges to the patient. We pride ourselves on being leaders in the field of Medically Assisted Treatment, providing Buprenorphine Medication Management, Vivitrol Injections, and Narcan Overdose Response Training. Our practice is built around 3 main goals: Superior Clinical Care, Education, and Research. We work closely with other leaders in the field to ensure we provide the best quality, comprehensive patient care, and remain at the forefront in the fight against Opiate Addiction. Dr. Frank Kunkel is the Medical Director at ARS, and brings his wealth of medical expertise to our Program. Frank is a board certified, University of Pittsburgh Trained Anesthesiologist, and is also Board Certified in Addiction Medicine through ASAM. He is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management and National Board of Examiners. He is also an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Frank has held many leadership positions and served on a variety of well-respected medical advisory boards and committees. His research has been published in publications such as: Outpatient Surgery Magazine and The Official Journal of World Institute of Pain. He has also been published in and is on the editorial boards of: The Journal of Opioid Management and Practical Pain Management.
