• IDEX stands for Intrapreneur Development Experience. Our mission is to create the next wave of social intrapreneurs who will support, lead and advance the work of socially-focused enterprises around the world. Social intrapreneurs are becoming key actors in the race towards a new kind of economy. These changemakers are supporting and leading the development of scalable solutions to some of the worlds most pressing challenges - from health to education to environment. Contrary to social entrepreneurs, social intrapreneurs are innovating from within an existing enterprise or organization. Driving innovation from within an organization can be quite challenging, but its even more challenging when the problems youre tackling such as climate change or poverty are not always well understood or overtly connected to the business strategy. That's why we established the League of Intrapreneurs to help support and strengthen this growing movement of corporate change agents transforming business from the inside out. Since 2010, IDEX has served as an impact career launch-pad and human capital investor for over 150 fellows from over 16 countries. We believe that by investing in intrapreneurial leaders today, while they are we are planting seeds for future leaders of tomorrow. We are determined architects working to bridge the gap between young professionals and high impact careers. Over our five year history, IDEX has come to understand that in order for todays emerging professionals to launch purposeful careers with social impact, they must engage in strategic and relevant professional development experiences. Our Global Fellow Program offers 6 months of intense emerging market field experience and leadership training that equips our fellows with 2 years of marketable experience. Our math was called crazy, nonsensical, unattainable, and welljust plain wrong! We thought so too until we discovered that our formula is powerful and effective.
