By supporting districts, schools, and nonprofits in creating a community that is inclusive of students, parents, and families of varied backgrounds, research proves that more students attend school. Kinvolveds mobile and web app, Kinvo, enables K-12 school staff and families to engage through real-time, translated, text messaging. Through open communication and access to simple attendance data, communities work together to ensure students attend school everyday.Through Clever (https://clever.com/), Kinvo automatically syncs and routinely updates roster information from districts student information systems.Kinvolveds Campus Kit, winner of the Robin Hood Foundation College Success Prize, is in beta testing, and supports community college students' efforts to persist to graduation.Research shows that specific communication can lead to 40% increases in homework completion, 25% decreases in time-off-task, and 15% increases in class participation.
