• Formerly Rock The Path, The Haven Institute is a 501(c)3 nonprofit center for personal development and self-discovery in Camden, Maine offering unique opportunities, in the form of classes, workshops and retreats, to help students of all ages reimagine what's possible, and use this greater awareness to full effect in their lives.The Haven CenterWithin walking distance of the harbor and Camden Village, the Center encompasses three floors, connected via two spiraling staircases, offering bright and peaceful spaces for meditation, discussion, consultation, media presentation, study and socializing. In addition, the Center offers overnight and weekend accommodations for students, snack/coffee bar, dining room, three media/presentation rooms, meditation room, massage/bodywork room, hiking trails, lending library, listening library, and ample free onsite parking.Statement of BeliefsThe Haven Institute espouses no particular belief system, and as an organization takes no political, spiritual, religious or social stance. People from all walks of life attend our programs comfortably and without conflict.Affiliations/AssociationsThe Haven Institute is affiliated with the nonprofit Monroe Institute, founded by consciousness pioneer Robert Monroe in 1974. The Monroe Institute's Mission is to facilitate and further the personal exploration of consciousness, and to enhance worldwide cooperative efforts in expanding human awareness and potential. Additional associations include The Institute of Noetic Sciences and the HearthMath Institute.
