• As the original and largest no-kill animal shelter in North Texas, Operation Kindness is the place Where Happiness Begins. In 40 years we have saved more than 85,000 cats and dogs. We care for approximately 300 cats and dogs on a day-to-day basis, with another 150 in foster homes. In the past 12 months more than 5,000 homeless cats and dogs received medical care, clean shelter, nutritious food and playtime in a natural setting until they were adopted into new forever homes.Each life we save costs an average of $398 to provide comprehensive care before adoption. Those costs are considerably higher if the animal is injured and requires life-saving surgery. Operation Kindness receives no government funding and relies on donations and adoption fees to fund its operations. We have fun and engaging program that benefit your employees and our animals.Work Paws Playdates. For a sponsorship fee, well bring highly socialized puppies, dogs and occasionally kittens to your office or your beneficiarys office (ideally theres a green space for playtime). The humans will enjoy all the relaxing wellness benefits fur-therapy delivers, and the animals will enjoy the field trip and socializing time.
