• Ballet San Antonio is the citys premier professional ballet company.Deeply committed to enriching our community through the splendor of ballet, we showcase the artistry of more than 25 professional dancers who reflect the diversity of South Texas, Latin America and beyond. We are the resident ballet company of the Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, and our artistic vision and growing visibility in the community is reflected in our expanding repertoire. During the 2013/2014 season, Ballet San Antonio will feature four major productions Cinderella, The Nutcracker, Firebird and Ballet En La Villita that highlight the choreography of both local and international artists.As part of our mission to widen our communitys exposure to the arts, Ballet San Antonio cultivates relationships with other area arts organizations. Each season, we present programs in collaboration with groups such as the San Antonio Symphony. In addition, our longstanding educational program, Learning That Moves You, brings ballet to thousands of children throughout the community. We also nurture local talent by inviting young dancers to audition and perform in our production of The Nutcracker.Ballet San Antonio has been reaching up approximately 30,000 members of our community every year, and we are dedicated to raising the barre with each performance and outreach effort.
