• ABR, Inc. Environmental Research & Services (formerly Alaska Biological Research) was founded in 1976 in Fairbanks, Alaska. We specialize in biological and ecological consulting services and are best known for promoting rigorous and objective science within the context of a triple bottom line business philosophy: economic viability, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. Our mission, to provide timely, accurate, and cost-effective services to those who manage, develop, and protect our natural resources, serves a diverse array of private and public sector clients. Today, ABR has a team of over 60 scientists and support staff in offices in Alaska. Many of our key employees have over 20 years of experience in their field and at ABR, and their experience and institutional knowledge continues to benefit both our long-term and new clients. We also have a new generation of scientists, managers, and employee owners bringing additional skills and innovative solutions to meet our clients requirements for cutting-edge science, state-of-the-art project management, and safety compliance.
