The meeting was eventually adjourned and Pat walked out behind the two combatants and one turned to the other and said, Wanna get a beer? This made no sense from Pats perspective but she realized that if she was going to be successful in their world she needed to understand the rules of the male culture. Pat began to read all the research available on gender differences and share it with others Pats passion to help men and women understand those cultural differences, learn to speak each others language and value each other which was the foundation for development of the GenderSpeak Workshop and began a longstanding relationship with Tammy Hughes. Tammy came to the Heim Group from a highly successful sales career with a background in training. She and Pat worked side by side to develop GenderSpeak which was launched in 2000.
