• ABOUT US Tough Guys Moving Co. was started by Boston local Shawn Wilkes, and New York local Eddie Russell in the fall of 2015, while roommates in Boston, MA. We had a vison. The goal was to deliver a different kind of moving experience than our customers were previously accustomed to. Taking pride in our work we strive to bring the professionalism back to professional moving. After working with a number of local moving companies and noticing the lack of professionalism and organization owner Shawn Wilkes decided it may be necessary to create the work environment he so desired to provide the moving experience he believed his customers deserved. He reached out to his long time friend Eddie Russell and brought the subject of Tough Guys to the table. Thus, Tough Guys Moving Co. began its journey. With over 10 years in the industry it seemed the next logical step would be to take everything learned along the way and create a Brand that our customers could rely on. One trip to Charleston, SC was all it took for us to fall in love with its charm. At the rate Charleston is expanding we felt there was no other choice but to make home in paradise. When you think about it doesnt everyone need some Tough Guys now and again. Enjoy paradise.. Let us do the heavy lifting.
