- Portico Healthnet is a nonprofit health and human services organization, based in the Twin Cities, that connects uninsured individuals and families to the resources needed to effectively manage health. Portico employs Certified MNsure Navigators who provide outreach services in the community and personalized application and enrollment assistance for programs available through MNsure. Portico also offers a unique alternative coverage program that includes care management services offering education and guidance on how to use the health care system effectively. Portico has helped Minnesotans overcome barriers to coverage and care since 1995. Portico's health access line serves as a first stop in navigating a complex health care system for under-served, uninsured people. Callers may be transferred to a MNsure Navigator for assistance with MNsure enrollment, receive information about low-cost options for medical, dental and mental health care and coverage, or be referred to appropriate community resources for help with other needs like housing, food and other family support.
