    • America is experiencing an epidemic of homelessness. Its effects are corrosive both for those without shelter and the communities in which they live. The Homeless Action Center (HAC) is the only legal services program in the San Francisco Bay Area to focus exclusively on free public benefits advocacy as a critical tool for ending homelessness. Our clients are disabled, mentally ill, and homeless. With HAC's help, they make the transition from homelessness and reliance on emergency rooms to housing, healthcare, and restored dignity.This year, the Homeless Action Center celebrates its 25th anniversary 25 years of making a difference in the lives of people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
