Lymphatic Massage (or MLD/CDP therapy) is beneficial for overall cleansing of the lymphatic sytem. Compression garment fitting, supply & education is available for patients and health care practitioners. Additionally, we provide lymphedema therapy programs, pre to post natal edema care, self MLD instruction, Wellbox treatments, lipposage and information on skin care. Carmen Thompson, BS, LPTA, CMT, CLT, is a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and Certified Massage Therapist, with a specialty certification in lymphatic therapy. Ms. Thompson has worked in a variety of health care settings over the last 15 years, both as a clinical therapist and as an administrator. She currently provides inpatient and outpatient lymphatic therapy to clients with a variety of diagnoses. She also teaches Lymphatic Pathology at the Blue Ridge School of Massage in Blacksburg, Virginia as well as MLD/CDP certification courses locally & in many locations across the USA.
