• NVBIA is the association for the new home building & remodeling community in Northern Virginia. The NVBIA has 4 goals: 1. To advocate for builders at the local, state and national levels. 2. To educate our members through certified and non certified classes and seminars. 3. To create networking opportunities to grow and foster business relationships. 4. To support our community. We have been achieving these 4 goals for over 80 years.When you are a member of the NVBIA (local) you are also a member of the Home Building Association of Virginia (HBAV (state)) & the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB (national)). Through the support of our membership we are able to advocate at to keep new home development affordable to new home buyers.The NVBIA hosts seminars and classes for all aspects related to home building. Some topics include: green building, social media, market trends, financing, sales & marketing, just to name a few.Our networking functions are Must Attend affairs. Our Meet the Builder allows our associate members to meet purchasing decision makers from the home building organizations. Our Casino Night, Crawfish Boil, & Oyster Roast are legendary events allowing our associate and builder members the opportunity to network in fun relaxed setting.Lastly, we give back to the community through financial and physical support of HomeAid Northern Virginia. HomeAid renovates and builds shelters & transitional housing for homeless families.
