- Provide overall vision and leadership in growing the programs and participation within aFaith based NGO community. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Selecting and working with new board members, Program selection and management, Development/Fundraising to include: Annual Golf Tournament(s) Super Bowl Parties, Oktoberfest Activities, St. Patricks Day Dinner Party, Retreats, Silent Auctions, Major Gift Solicitation, and more-The funds raised provided support for our fallen military and their families; helped feed the hungry in our community, and provided struggling families partial scholarships for education and books-Raised Operational Funding for Edmund Rice School/Barry UniversityTransferrable: Develop appropriate cultivation strategies, including working with volunteers- Move potential donors in an appropriate and timely fashion toward solicitation and closure- Make solicitations when appropriate- Maintain stewardship contacts with donors; adhere to the highest ethical standards; demonstrate empathetic disposition, and perseverance; reflect optimistic and positive attitude, and convey sensitivity to needs of the donor
