- We founded 9 Fruits in Franklin, Tennessee in 2007. However, our vision for this company dates back nearly two decades. We grew up on a fruit farm in a little town called Newcastle in Northern California. When we were kids, our mom made smoothies for us every day. Eventually all of our friends got hooked on them too, even earning the nickname Mamas Shakes. Our dad always taught us to work for ourselves, and even at a young age we were selling fruit drinks from our front yard. Combining Moms penchant for health and Dads knack for business, it was only natural for us to start our own smoothie business.Today we share a passion for helping people eat healthy and live healthy lifestyles. We realized that theres a great need in Middle Tennessee for a call to better health, and thats why we decided to start our business here and call Nashville our home.
