• Healthcare Network of Southwest Florida (Healthcare Network) is a private, not-for-profit FQHC organization providing primary medical and dental care to our community since 1977. Founded by community leaders in Immokalee, Florida, the Healthcare Network has grown to 13 locations throughout Collier County, including the Ronald McDonald Care Mobile®. In FY 2012 / 2013, the Healthcare Network cared for an average of 36,000 patients, 25,000 of whom were children. The Healthcare Network has four main service areas: Childrens Care, Family Care, Womens Care and Dental Care. The Healthcare Network welcomes all patientsinsured or uninsuredand provides the same high quality standard of care to all. As more physicians choose not to accept Medicaid or uninsured patients, the Healthcare Network cares for those patients, offering an alternative to the more expensive and often inappropriate emergency room. If more people have access to care, we all benefit from a healthier community. Network sites include a Pediatric Dental Residency program in Naples operated in partnership with the University of Florida, as well as a Rural Pediatric training site in Immokalee operated with Florida State University.
