In my free time, I volunteer as the President for Wings of Hope International, a non-profit organization with offices in Ankeny, Iowa. I founded WHI in August of 2007 with the main focus of assisting the needy in Moldova. We raise funds in the U.S. and then travel to Moldova where we implement various projects that address the needs of children, elderly and the sick. Specifically, WHI focuses on improving access to educational opportunities for children from low income families in Moldova and on improving the learning environments for schools in kindergartens in Moldova. Also, we work with the elderly to assist those who dont have any relatives to improve their quality of life during their retirement age. And lastly, we work with another group of the needy in Moldova, those in need of quality healthcare. We assist patients directly or work with healthcare providers to improve the quality of the healthcare that they provide.
