Sherpa Travel Exchange, Llc

Description

• Sherpa Travel Exchange, (Sherpa) is a new online travel movement that will become the world's first and largest marketplace for home based lodging. With more than 67 million homeowners with more than 90 million unused rooms in the U.S. alone, Sherpa aims to transform and disrupt the global hotel industry by empowering regular homeowners, tenants, and property managers with the tools to earn extra cash by monetizing their extra living space through becoming part-time hotel/B&B operators from their homes. Our innovative home based lodging concept will allow travelers to book home based lodging accommodations directly with homeowners, B&B operators and professional property managers through the Sherpa platform. Sherpa will bring together three disparate home based lodging segments under one umbrella: Homestays/B&Bs, Home Exchanges and Vacation Rentals. Our goal is to make travel more accessible to a greater number of people by making travel more affordable and flexible while providing everyday homeowners, tenants and property managers with a new way to make extra cash.If only 5% of the 90 million unused rooms in the U.S. becomes monetized we will double the lodging supply in America.
