Inspired by the tradition of tailoring, a love for all things classic and a British sense of humour, we travelled west to California. The brand was launched, the London look marrying perfectly with the casual, laid back lifestyle of the Californias endless summers.California Tailor specialises in womens shirting. The first collection - a very limited edition of Shirt no.1, launching in spring 2014 - will be sold exclusively online at www.californiatailor.com. Shirt no.1 is our take on the perfect button down shirt. The collection is made in Los Angeles, California, using the highest quality and softest fabrics sourced from around the world. Each item is washed to make the items soft and comfortable; and each item is checked by hand to ensure the products are made to the highest standard of craftsmanship.California Tailor was launched in 2013, the first solo venture by founder Gillian McLean.
