• Great Oaks Charter School is an open-admission, tuition-free middle and high school in Newark, NJ. Great Oaks opened in the Fall of 2011 with the explicit mission to change the dismal odds that Newark students have of obtaining a college degree. Our mission is to prepare our students to succeed in college.
