- Olmo Ling Center and Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the teachings of wisdom and compassion of the ancient Tibetan Bon tradition and making them available and accessible in the West. Olmo Ling was founded in 2007 by Tempa Dukte Lama, an ordained Bon lama, artist, poet, and author of The Intimate Mind and Inexhaustible Miracles. Olmo Ling offers a comprehensive program including weekly teachings and meditation, meditation instruction, individual meetings with Tempa Lama, and regular retreats and workshops with Tempa Lama and visiting teachers. Continuing education workshops for psychologists, licensed professional counselors, social workers, and nurses are offered on a regular basis. This includes the Beyond Mindfulness series of annual workshops and the Olmo Ling Project on Death and Dying. Through the latter, Olmo Ling offers training and practice in healing, compassionate care, and spiritual support for the dying.
