• Camp Kindness Counts empowers kids to feel their thoughts, voice, and actions matter and can make a positive impact in their communities and the world. Through community service, activities that encourage kindness, and bringing awareness through mindfulness exercises, kids are inspired to lead with kindness and compassion. We envision a world where kids can express their authentic selves and be confident, curious, and productive youth who will lead their communities and schools to adopt a culture of kindness and compassion. We develop after school enrichment and summer camps where we provide a supportive peer environment and empower and inspire kids to lead with kindness We connect families and communities through family service events We engage schools and parents in educational workshops to help them support kids Weve grown from working with 16 elementary students in 2012 to impacting more than 800 kids and 200 parents and teachers during the past 4 years. We are excited to be partnering with the Bellevue School District, EastSide Pathways, and Green Redmond Partnerships, among others, and we work with wonderful organizations like Friends of Youth, Forterra and the Humane Society serving the elderly, homeless, animals, and our environment.
