• The Association for Enterprise Growth is a national nonprofit whose mission is to strengthen operational effectiveness of mid-market private businesses to grow enterprise value and maximize an owners personal wealth. Our collective purpose is to help business owners gain from one of the most enduring lessons of each recession: the most operationally effective and the most agile companies generally suffer the least and are poised for the greatest gains. Our core principles are to integrate advice, both across disciplines as well as combining personal and business, in an owner-centric advisory model. It is to provide local advice by professionals who know the local market, have access to capital, information and connections in those markets, and have a stake in the local communities. Finally, we are committed to improving the business advisory process by moving away from discipline-centric advice to a more owner-centric, cross-disciplinary consilient approachAEG works directly with individual business owners by providing professional services on a contractual basis. These services include research, diagnostics, information, expertise, collaborations, access to capital and referral to needed resources. A relationship between AEG and an owner can last as little as a few weeks or for years.AEG provides initial diagnostic and discover services to mutually identify business and personal needs. Our business guidance activities are coordinated by our Business Advisors, working with an owner to determine needs, priorities and current capabilities of the company. Other AEG advisors are consulted and an integrated business growth and personal wealth plan is developed mutually with the owner and his or her current advisors.Companies using our approach are growing value at annual rates greater than 20%.
