Under the direction of a volunteer Board of Directors, Hattiesburg Area Habitat works in partnership with low-income families to build simple, decent, and affordable housing in the Hattiesburg area.Our Vision: The elimination of substandard living conditions in the Hattiesburg area.Our Mission: Hattiesburg Area Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization committed to assisting families in need by providing the life-changing opportunity of having simple, decent, affordable housing in partnership with a team of enthusiastic volunteers and staff guided by Christian values.The houses are built using volunteer labor and tax-deductible donations of money and materials contributed by churches, businesses, foundations, groups, schools, and private individuals.
