Pool Room Studio

Description

• Norm Johnson has been in and around music and recording since 1970 when he started a singing group called Children. While in college at U.S.D, he worked at Studio West where he fell in love with the process of recording. Thus his journey began. In 1974, after graduating from U.S.D. with a degree in Business and a degree in Accounting, he proceeded to go on the road as a sound engineer for a group called Master Design. After that 2 year stint, still passionate about the recording industry, he partnered with a friend to form a mobile 4 track recording company called Sound Truck. The business found its niche as the mobile audio rig contracted out by many Southern California video trucks as their main audio source. Now what started as a dream, has turned into reality. Taking the design expertise he has acquired over the course of his career, Norm designed and built a state of the art recording studio. This fulfills his long time passion and desire to offer high quality recording and production services at an affordable price.Driven by the process to get it right and make your mix sound great, coupled with the fact that Norm cares about the people he works with and for, Pool Room Studio is the perfect place for your recording project. At Pool Room Studio, the process is just as important as the end result.
